Solidarity comes from within and is directed toward human beings. The person is the source and the objective of solidarity, because as members of society, we all need each other. Being a caring person must become a habit, a way of life, a personal attitude. Solidarity must be real, concrete, active, determined and continuous. It is a virtue that is lost if it is not developed.
Our students make visits to the following places:
- Casa Hogar Rayito de Luz (home for children): From 2nd to 5th grade, once per week. At the end of the school year, each class has made a total of 4 visits.
- Asilo Hogar María Rosario Araoz Pinto (nursing home): From 6th to 11th grade, once per week. At the end of the school year, each class has made a total of 3 visits.
In addition, throughout the year, many families donate clothing and toys that are gathered by the school and given to the Hogar de Bebitos de la Comunidad del Cenáculo (home for infants). At the end of the year, these families receive a certificate of recognition and thanks.
Lastly, every Wednesday starting in April, breakfast is sent to the children of Cuna San Genaro. In addition, we hold two birthday celebrations (January-July/July-December) where we give gifts to the children with birthdays in that semester.
